This weeks Thrifty finds are proudly brought to you by Salvation Army Family stores .While i was searching through the racks of clothes there were so many fantastic name brands, BUT every item i picked up was either a tiny size 6 to 8 or larger sizes 12 to 18 grrrrrrr so annoyed ! and you would not believe what i did OMG how daft am i ? I went to check out the shoes and found the cutest pair of heels that were red strappy with a cork type heel they were sweet as! and only $3.00 . this store only has one pair on display and you have to ask for the matching pair, with all intentions of buying them i put them back on the shelf because the lady was busy and i had my hands full at the time "I thought i will get them when she is finished talking"........................................................................Hmm but this little duck got distracted by a piece of furniture i was umming and ahhing about and the gorgeous red shoes remained on the shelf Ahhhh so annoyed .. I will go back tomoz and see if they are there. The chair i was umming and ahhing about was a 60's chair that needs to be reupholstered.
They had $25.00 on it, i left it but i think i could make it look pretty again, so i think i will go back and get it .
This is what i picked up today
A pretty spring top from target
A Tempt top
Two Glass jars for holding spring flowers ;)
A top for Miss Mia Moo
And a top for Miss Mollie
Total for today's shopping trip was $11.00 Sweet ;)
This is what i got up to this morning .. i have signed up to learn how to apply acrylic nails, gels and learn how to do nail art . I have not started the course yet i was a little impatient and watched the dvd that they supplied in the package . I attempted my own hands with Acrylic. Bit tricky to do on your own hands ....sheesh i definitely need to read the theory and learn heaps because i have a few dips and it's a bit thicker in parts but i am sure i will get it happening soon.
Go on over to Janelle and Mardi's blog to see what they have picked up this week

fingers crossed your red shoes are still there waiting for you ;0) nails look great to me, good one you for doing course too.
Thought of you yesterday and today. I picked up $19.95 of bargains from Salvos yesterday. Two tops, a skirt and some 3/4 pants. Fab.
And today I went to Bunnings to buy some paint etc for my drawers. Instead of white washing them (too much time to sand them back) I bought some ESP which you just paint on and then when that dries you can put your paint straight on top (you may have already known that anyway). So I have two side tables, a tall boy and a mirror to do. Excited that it is going to be a little easier.
P.S. The shoes sound way cute.
Hellooooo daughter of mine, sooo how good will my nails look when you are needing someone to practice on ?? and don't forget Mummy when you see "larger" ladies clothes, love your stash chicken hope you were able to get the red strappy shoes.
Love you
XOXOXOXO
